Old man deserted by his abusive wife and daughter in hay days

Rajasekharan is a bank employee, employed with one of the leading nationalized banks. Little did he know that his decision of marrying yet another bank employee is going to turn his life upside down. Rajasekharan got married to Saraswati in 1988 and ever since his life has been hell as on the very first day of marriage, Saraswati told him that she wasn’t interested in him and did not allow him to come near him.

However, after 2 years Rajasekharan and Saraswati were blessed with a baby girl. After that, the ordeal of Rajasekharan started as Saraswati revealed her pre-marital affairs to him and told him that all of her previous boyfriends were smarter than him (Rajasekharan) and that she married him only under parental pressure.

Rajasekharan took the bite smilingly hoping that she would understand him and accept him. However, on the contrary, Saraswati not only tortured him with her constant naggings and intermittent beatings, but also turned their daughter against him. Rajasekharan started developing guilt feelings and thought that he was inadequate to satisfy her and that’s why she was behaving like this.

In order to set things straight, he registered all the properties that he purchased in the due course of his career in his wife’s name.

Once she hit him so hard with a blade that he got 6 stiches on his face. He was beaten up several times by her as she accused him of not providing enough even though Rajasekharan used to give all his earnings to her and did not spend a single penny on himself. In order to exercise her control over him, she even forced him to go to a de-addiction center even though he was not an alcoholic.

Rajasekharan was a very docile and submissive person while his abusive and greedy wife took advantage of this situation, abused him to the core, usurped all his wealth and properties, turned his daughter against him and drove him out of the house about 5 years back. Since 5 years, at the age of 60, Rajasekharan has been living almost on the streets, depending on friends’ place, eating outside and managing his expenses by doing small jobs here and there as he lost his banking job due to the stress created by Saraswati and his daughter.

And if, all this wasn’t enough, at last she served him with a legal notice accusing him of torturing her for dowry almost 26 years after marriage and alleging that he did not take enough care of her and her daughter.

Today, Rajasekharan has lost meaning of life and is waiting for his end to come so that his ordeal ends.
